MankindThis is the first time I have seen one of these. I've never even seen those cockroach baits (dubbed as "roach motels", they can check in anytime they like, but they can never leave..) in person, but I've seen them in ads, movies, and more ads.
This particular contraption is an ant trap. It comes in a pack of four, and it was meant for them to be deployed all at the same time. And it is effective for three months time (atleast that's what the packaging says). It's a very interesting object, piques the curious mind for the uninitiated. From an ant's POV, it looks like they're attending a Beetles Concert in Ant-raneta Center (okay, I know, terrible joke ^.^). And from our POV, it looks like a harmless cardboard flower which fell on the ground from a cardboard flower arrangement. That is until a queue of industrious crtitters start molesting the innards of the flower..hmm..maybe not the right choice of words, no?
I will get back to these after three months and see how was the concert like and interview the (dying) ants who just attended the grandiose event.
